I was asked to produce a collection of introductory guides for a selection of Defaqto’s research products. These ranged from software applications used by independent financial advisors to the consumer-facing “Star Ratings” system.
The most important aspect when designing these was to bring the content to life – the guides had a danger of becoming too dry otherwise. Primarily used as sales aids for prospective customers, they had to get the point across effectively whilst not bombarding with information. Using lots of imagery, illustrations and white space was therefore the way to go.
